Science, a profession for women

On March 5, Mulhouse hosted the “Science, a profession for women” day, organized by the University of Haute Alsace and the associations "Women and Sciences" and "Engineers and  Scientists of France"                                          .

The aim of this event was to introduce young women to careers in industry and research where women are currently under-represented, through meetings with female ambassadors from these fields. As part of the agreement between INRAE and F&S, our unit was heavily involved in the organization of the event, thanks to Emilce Prado. Four women participated as ambassadors to share their experiences and enthusiasm with the young high school students.

The meeting took place at the University of Haute Alsace, Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) in Mulhouse. 128 high school students from eight schools in the Haut Rhin region participated in the event.
