Manager: Sabine Wiedemann-Merdinoglu

Logo Vegoia

A platform to:

  • evaluate the level of resistance of genetic resources and grapevine study collections under controlled conditions
  • identify and characterize resistance factors in grapevines and related species
  • evaluate the resistance to mildew and powdery mildew of new grapevine varieties, as requested by the CTPS from the registration of these varieties.

Facilities

  • an S2 greenhouse dedicated to the preparation of plant material prior to phenotyping
  • a pathology laboratory including automatic reading of symptoms by image analysis and quantitative evaluation of resistance by stereomicroscope observation
  • climate chambers for the conservation and production of pathogen inoculum, as well as for the incubation of samples to be evaluated.

Certification

CoRTecS: Network of scientific research and service platforms Cortecs at the University of Strasbourg: https://cortecs.unistra.fr/
