Plateforme vinification

A platform with the following objectives:

  • INRAE: evaluation of genotypes resulting from the selection program for mildew- and powdery mildew-resistant vat varieties, and more generally for all varietal innovations.
  • Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins d'Alsace (CIVA): evaluation of clones of traditional Alsatian grape varieties for approval and study of genotype x terroir x rootstock interactions
  • Institut Français de la Vigne et du Vin (IFV): research and development concerning the rational use of oenological inputs and white winemaking itinaries to enhance the aromatic potential of the harvest

Equipment for processing all types of volume:

  • micro-vinification in bottles (2-10 l of wine)
  • mini-vinification in bonbonne (25-75 l) and minicuve (100-200 l)
  • large volume vinification in stainless steel tanks (from 500 l)
  • wine analysis (current analyzes, aromatic compounds, ... See UMR SVQV analytical platform)

This platform is part of the Unité Expérimentale Agronomique et Viticole de Colmar.

This project was co-financed by Région Grand Est (Alsace), Union européenne via le Fonds européen du développement régional (FEDER), INRAE, CIVA and IFV.
